In a recent Townsville Bulletin article, “School Marks Record Figure” (23 February 2016), there was a significant error. To set the record straight, SMMC had 21% of its eligible students (73% of the 2015 cohort) receive an OP in the 1-5 range. This was corrected in the paper the following day. Therefore, these results indicate that SMMC's students achieved very well indeed, and we are very proud of all of our students.
