Information Technology teachers from around Queensland are meeting in Townsville this week to fully explore the opportunities information communication technology brings to Queensland education and our classrooms every day.
The Queensland Society for Information Technology in Education (QSITE) connects and supports educators, institutions and their stakeholders and are holding their 2015 State Conference today and tomorrow (Friday) at St Margaret Mary’s College.
More than 70 delegates from around the state will be in attendance and the keynote speaker is Dr Michael Henderson, Learning with New Media, Faculty of Education, Monash University.
Other workshops will be presented by university, secondary and primary school educators, including Dr Jason Zagai, President of the Australian Computers in Education and lecturer at Griffith University.
