Congratulations to our two teachers who are were nominees for a Spirit of Catholic Education Award, Ms Suzy Sheriff and Mrs Ellen Beams. Both teachers were acknowledged for their generous contribution to our Catholic school and to the wider community. This Award showcases the individuals who are working in our schools, going above and beyond their roles to enrich our school communities.
Ms Sheriff was also presented with the Catholic Education State Diocesan Award for 2015. Ms Sheriff travelled to Brisbane to receive her Award along with seven other State recipients from His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Governor of Queensland. This year there were 110 nominees from around the State for a Spirit of Catholic Education Award.
