Years 7 to 10
A broad range of subjects is offered in Year 7, incorporating the nine Key Learning Areas: English; Mathematics; Science; Humanities; Technologies; Languages other than English (LOTE); the Arts; Religious Education and Health and Physical Education. Students study all subjects.
In Years 8, 9 and 10, students continue their studies in core subjects of Religious Education, English, Mathematics,Humanities, Science, Health and Physical Education and select electives from the Arts; Technologies and LOTE Key Learning Areas.
Years 11 and 12
An impressive record of results in General and Applied Subjects along with increased participation in Vocational Education and Training is testament to the many varied opportunities available in the senior years.
Students are offered a challenging and diverse curriculum for the vital years of 11 and 12. We cater for a wide range of student needs, from tertiary entrance to vocational education and training. Success in a variety of subject options can lead to a student receiving a Queensland Certificate of Education. Subject options cover QCAA General and Applied Subjects as well as VET Qualifications.
Senior students at the College are challenged to begin taking responsibility for their own learning by becoming self-disciplined and self-motivated learners.
