At our Whole College Assembly on Friday, 30 October, we welcomed the Strategic Leadership Team from Townsville Catholic Education Office to our College. The Executive Director, Dr Cathy Day presented our Principal, Mrs Kathy Park, with the Certificate of School Validation for the next five years. This follows on from the excellent School Renewal in 2014.
Our assembly displayed a true example of the strength of the Maggie community. Dr Cathy Day was clear in her message to the audience about the development and growth in our college, acknowledging in particular the welcoming of Year 7 students into our secondary school this year and the impressive new facilities that adorn our campus.
