PUBLIC SPEAKING VICTORY: ROSTRUM EILEEN LARACY PLATE
This Term, a group of SMMC students representing Years 7-12 participated in a unique public speaking competition. Now in its second year, the Rostrum Eileen Laracy Plate saw five of our talented public speakers pit their skills against students from Marist College, Brisbane. Conducted via Skype, this unique competition challenged our studnets to engage a virtual audience thousands of kilometres away. Congratulations to the girls whose success ensures the Eileen Laracy Plate remains at St Margaret Mary’s College for another year.
