Career Development

Preparing your daughter for life beyond school

The St Margaret Mary's Career Development Program is provided to ensure that every student is offered the opportunity to create an exciting and individualised Career Map. With a whole school Career Development program that supports the learning and teaching in the classroom, students can explore a variety of options from an early age. All students and their families have access to the Career Development Practitioner, and appointments can be arranged by emailing careers@smmc.catholic.edu.au

Career Development Office Location and Staff

St Margaret Mary's College offers a personalised approach to career counselling. The Careers office is located in the Administration building, accessible via the carpark on Bayswater Road. The office is staffed by a highly experienced and qualified Career Development Practitioner, who is a member of the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) and registered with the Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA). Membership with these professional associations ensures that Professional Standards are met and a quality service with regular professional training is provided to the students.
