Pathways to Success, Purpose and Post-School Readiness

The senior phase of learning at St Margaret Mary's College focuses on empowering our girls in Years 11–12 to shape their own learning journey while working towards their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). Some students will also achieve an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) providing them with an internationally recognised university entry rank. The curriculum is designed to offer academic rigour, flexibility, and a clear link to life beyond school. During this phase, students are engaging in pathway preparations and their choice of subject and learning programs are tailored to suit students’ post-school ambitions, whether university study or vocational education.
