Library

St Margaret Mary’s College Library provides a welcoming and stimulating learning environment to support and enrich the school’s curriculum.  We aim to empower students to become information-literate lifelong learners.

The Library comprises an extensive collection of print and digital resources for access by staff and students. Students may borrow freely from the collection for both academic and recreational purposes. 

A qualified and experienced Teacher-Librarian works in the library with teachers and students and a Library Officer works 4 days/week. 

The following resources are available to all to access online at school or home:

• Box of Books - textbooks online
• Clickview - film or video
• Britannica School - authorative reference material
• Library Catalogue - all resources in library
• SORA - all eresources in library

We also connect with other Library services including Townsville City Council, James Cook University, State Library of Queensland and the National Library of Australia.
